TC Rating · How it works

From individual requirements to the best and truly most suitable device

Many providers usually offer products from only one manufacturer and accordingly recommend only that manufacturer’s devices. However, these may not necessarily meet all requirements. In addition, device specifications are generally based only on average usage scenarios and therefore do not always correspond to individual usage patterns.
With TC Rating, we are the first and only provider on the market to analyse and evaluate all printing devices according to the most important criteria:

  • Cost-effectiveness
  • Value for money
  • User-friendliness
  • Environment
  • Security
  • Digitalization

Frequently asked questions

Finding the right printing device – explained briefly.

How do I know which printer is right for our company?

We discuss your individual requirements with you and compare suitable devices based on the best results in our TC Rating. This gives you a manufacturer-independent recommendation that matches your actual needs.

Does TC Rating evaluate only certain devices and manufacturers?

No. TC Rating evaluates printers and multifunction devices across manufacturers, enabling an objective selection.

Which criteria are taken into account for the ratings in TC Rating?

With TC Rating, we evaluate printers and multifunction devices in terms of cost-effectiveness, value for money, user-friendliness, environmental impact, security and digitalization.

Are practical experiences also included in the evaluation?

Yes. In addition to the manufacturer’s specifications for each device, our technicians’ daily experiences from service assignments at our customers’ sites are also included in the evaluation.

Can Topcart also analyse our existing printer landscape?

Yes. We view your existing devices and requirements as an integrated system and can derive recommendations for an optimised printer landscape. As a Topcart Comfort customer, we also automatically optimise your printer landscape when you receive free replacement devices from us.
