The personal data of applicants is very important to us. We therefore treat this data not only with the utmost confidentiality, but also take the right to information very seriously. The EU General Data Protection Regulation, which has been in force since 25 May 2018 (hereinafter: GDPR), sets out information obligations in this regard in Art. 13 GDPR, which we hereby fulfil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Who is responsible for data processing?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The controller responsible for applications is<br>Topcart GmbH<br>Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 12-16<br>65189 Wiesbaden<br>Represented by Managing Director Mr Wolf Mayer<br>Telephone: <a href=\"tel:+49611949190\">0611-949190<\/a><br>Email: <a href=\"mailto:info@topcart.com\">info@topcart.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Data Protection Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our Data Protection Officer is Mr H\u00f6r<br>Email: <a href=\"mailto:datenschutz@topcart.com\">datenschutz@topcart.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What applicant data do we process and for what purposes?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will process the following personal data of applicants:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Personal identification details: first name, surname, address, telephone number, email address, birth name, place of birth, nationality<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Information about personal background<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Information about educational background<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Information about professional background<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How is the data processed?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We will collect, record, store, use, delete and also destroy the data. The sole purpose for which applicants\u2019 personal data is processed is the application procedure. We process all information provided to us by applicants who apply for a position at our company. This applies both to applications for specific vacancies and to unsolicited applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What is the legal basis for this?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Further legal bases arise from Art. 88 para. 1 GDPR and Art. 9 paras. 1 and 2 GDPR<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Additional information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Storage period:<br>a) Application documents (submitted by post or email) will be destroyed after the procedure has been completed.<br>b) Contact details, information concerning any existing severe disability, unsolicited applications, qualifications, as well as data relating to receipt of the application or confirmation of receipt, invitations to interviews and hiring, rejection or withdrawal of the application, are recorded in the applicant database. They will be deleted one year after completion of the application procedure. The same applies to correspondence relating to applications and documents relating to the selection procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Rights of data subjects<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR, data subjects have the right of access. They also have the right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 para. 1 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) and data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). In addition, pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, applicants have the right to object, on grounds relating to their particular situation, at any time to the processing of personal data concerning them which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1(e) or (f) GDPR. If the data is processed on the basis of consent pursuant to Art. 7 GDPR, applicants may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future pursuant to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR. However, we point out that providing personal data is necessary for the application.
